The short version: Bingo Bestie keeps your data on your device. We have no user accounts, run no analytics or ads, and do not collect or sell your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Bingo Bestie mobile app ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information stored on your device

Your bingo boards, called numbers, game history, scanned card photos, and app settings are stored locally on your device. This information is not transmitted to us, and it is removed when you uninstall the App.

Camera and photos

With your permission, the App uses your device camera to scan bingo cards. Image capture and number recognition happen entirely on your device. Card photos are saved locally on your device and are never uploaded to us or to any third party. You can delete saved card photos at any time from the App's Settings screen.

Audio

The App plays sound effects during gameplay. It does not record audio. A microphone permission may appear on Android because of the camera component, but the App does not record or transmit audio.

Subscriptions

The App offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Bingo Bestie Plus"), sold and billed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscription status. When you purchase or restore a subscription, the app store and RevenueCat process purchase information (such as the product purchased, transaction identifiers, an app-generated anonymous user ID, and basic device information) to validate and maintain your subscription. We do not receive your name, payment card, or billing address; those are handled directly by Apple and Google. For more detail, see the Apple, Google, and RevenueCat privacy policies.

No analytics, ads, or tracking

The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Because your data lives on your device, you control it: delete scanned photos in Settings, or uninstall the App to remove all local data. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding personal data. Since we do not collect personal data on our own servers, most requests can be satisfied by managing the data on your device. You may contact us with any questions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
